
NO SHOW/CANCELLATION FEES ON
PASSENGER APP CREDIT CARD BOOKINGS
At Value Cabs, we work hard to make sure your taxi arrives quickly and on time. We’re introducing a small cancellation and no-show fee system on our credit card app bookings, similar to what you may have seen with other transport services, to help ensure smoother journeys for everyone.
How it works
£3 Cancellation Fee – If your booking has been dispatched to a driver for 5 minutes or more and you cancel, a £3 fee will apply.
£5 No-Show Fee – If you don’t cancel and the driver arrives at your pickup location but you are not there, a £5 fee will apply. The driver will wait for 10 minutes, during which they will attempt to contact you or locate the passenger before marking the job as a no-show.
Why we’ve introduced this
We understand plans can change. However, late cancellations and no-shows mean our drivers waste valuable time and can’t accept other bookings. These fees encourage customers to cancel as early as possible if they no longer need their taxi.
By reducing wasted journeys, we can:
