Covid-19/Coronavirus 

Value Cabs management are closely monitoring the updates from the Public Health Agency about Coronavirus/Covid-19.

As part of our ongoing reaction to this information, we intend to implement some changes which will ensure we carry on with business as usual.

  1. Travel only when needed- you should only be travelling if it is essential.
  2. If you need to cough or sneeze in the taxi, cover your mouth and nose with a tissue. Please dispose of tissue in the correct manner.
  3. Open a window. Ventilation will reduce transmission.
  4. Cleanliness of our cars is a priority during this time meaning our drivers have been briefed to regularly disinfect their vehicles interior with disinfectant wipes which will be deposed of in the correct manner.
  5. We would recommend all customers where possible to use the Value Cabs App for bookings. The App can be downloaded from the App Store or Play Store and once downloaded this is the quickest and easiest way to book your taxi without the need to contact the call centre.
  6. Pay by card if you can- using the app to book and pay. This cuts down the contact points between you and the driver.
  7. When there are 1 or 2 passengers, we would recommend that they sit in the back of the taxi. We should do our best to social distance where we can. We have implemented a maximum of two passengers per vehicle policy. If you have more than two passengers you should book a second taxi.
  8. You should not travel in the taxi if you are feeling unwel. Customers who are exhibiting symptoms associated with Coronavirus to follow   government guidelines.
